Undergraduate Checklist

Undergraduate Checklist

Congratulations on your admission to the NYPD Leadership Program at John Jay College!  Please follow the checklist below to successfully register for the Fall 2018 semester:

Step 1.  Submit Immunization Records (if applicable to you)

Students may not register until the immunization records are received. If you attended a CUNY college within the past 10 years, you are not required to resubmit your immunization records. You may access CUNYfirst to determine if you are required to submit your immunization records (see step 2). If you do not have an Immunization Record hold, you may begin registering by skipping to step 2, to activate your CUNYfirst account.

If you are required to submit your immunization records, you may click here. You may fax the records to the Wellness Center at 212-237-8026. Please follow-up with the Wellness Center to confirm receipt at 212-237-8053.  Please do NOT send your immunization records to the Office of Admissions, as that will delay your registration.  Acceptable proof of immunity may include:

• Immunization cards from childhood (yellow card), signed and stamped
• Immunization records from college, high school or other schools you attended
• Signed and stamped immunization record from your health care provider or clinic
• Students born after 1994 who were raised in New York City can check the Citywide Immunization Registry for their records by calling 311
• Copy of lab report, (also known as titer or serology), showing immunity to measles, mumps and rubella
• Proof of honorable discharge from the armed services within 10 years from the date of application will enable the student to attend school pending actual receipt of the immunization records from the armed services

Step 2.  Activate Your CUNYfirst Account

All students are required to register online via CUNYfirst. CUNYfirst gives students access to register for classes, view schedule and grades, etc.

You may activate your CUNYfirst account by clicking below and clicking on “New User” and following the prompts. Once you successfully complete this process, an 8-digit EMPL ID (CUNY ID) will be generated.  Please keep your EMPL ID number readily available at all times, as your EMPL ID will be used in lieu of your social security number.
