Awards:
The Department honors its students with three different awards:
1. The Billie Kotlowitz Incentive Award for outstanding freshmen in ISP, voted on by all the faculty members teaching in the freshman program.
2. The Bill Markowitz Scholarship Award ($2,500) for outstanding sophomore who is minoring in Interdisciplinary Studies.
3. Graduating Award for the outstanding graduating senior, awarded to a student who has taken at least 10 ISP classes, voted on by all the faculty members in DIS.
