About ACE at John Jay

The City University of New York’s Office of Academic Affairs and John Jay College of Criminal Justice launched John Jay Accelerate-Complete-Engage (ACE) and admitted its first cohort of 262 students in summer 2015. John Jay ACE is a baccalaureate completion program based on the principles of the successful CUNY Accelerated Study in Associate Programs (ASAP)  and designed to significantly increase timely baccalaureate graduation rates. The first cohort is now in its fourth year, supported by the Robin Hood Foundation, and based on evaluation has realized strong retention and degree momentum. The second and third cohorts of students are supported by New York City's Mayor's Office NYC Opportunity and the Jewish Foundation for Education of Women.
